Amy is a PhD candidate in Entomology at the University of Minnesota. Her current research uses cold hardiness phenotypes of an invasive moth to explore its underlying cold hardiness mechanisms, which, if understood better, would improve spatially-explicit strategies to predict and prevent its spread.
