Dr. Denys Yemshanov Ph.D. is a research scientist – quantitative spatial modeller with Natural Resources Canada, Canadian Forest Service, Great Lakes Forestry Centre, Sault Ste. Marie, ON. He specializes in the development, integration and application of spatial bioeconomic models focused on ecological and economic aspects of the use of forest resources. He is especially interested in the development of risk modelling and mapping techniques and optimal management models for invasive alien species and forest landscape conservation and management.
