Started in plant risk analysis in 1997 (New Zealand MAF). Founding member of IAGPRA (International Advisory Group PRA), IPPC Technical Panel for Forest Quarantine, and the IPPC Technical Panel for Phytosanitary Treatments. Attended the IPPC workshop on PRA in Niagara Falls, Canada (2005) and as part of the IAGPRA produced the IPPC Risk Analysis procedures and training material. Now managing a plant risk analysis team in the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries and chairing the International Forest Quarantine Research Group. Recent publications include:
