I study the effects of environmental factors, habitat heterogeneity, and climate change on species diversity, distribution and abundance at multiple spatial and temporal scales. I use state-of-the-art ecological, statistical and geospatial models to assess the risk of insect pest establishment, and predict the potential distributions of invasive, rare, threatened and endangered species.
