I am currently a Research Biologist with the USDA Forest Service and Director of the Minnesota Invasive Terrestrial Plants and Pests Center at the University of Minnesota. My research expertise is in the area of invasion biology and pest risk assessment. I have nearly 30 years of experience conducting research on the quantitative population responses of invasive alien species to environmental stresses and using that information to forecast geographically where those species might be able to establish and cause harm. I have more than 100 publications and edited a text for CAB International on pest risk modelling and mapping.
